· Heavy Metal singer, Ronnie Dio was spotted at Al Biernat’s dinning and signing autographs this past Friday. Mr. Dio, the vocalist for Black Sabbath who replaced Ozzy Osbourne in 1979, was in town for the Mega Masters Tours at Superpages.com Center at Fair Park. 8/25/08 · Was John Travolta in town this past weekend, yes but don’t expect to see him in any Uptown hotspots. He is a regular at Kirby’s Steakhouse in Southlake, and that is where he was seen once again both Sunday and Monday night. 8/20/08 · In town to promote her new cookbook, The Comfort Table, Katie Lee Joel visited the Osgood-O’Neil Salon on Knox before her book signing at Barnes & Noble. Katie is the third wife of 59-year-old legendary musician Billy Joel. For those of you wondering, yes there is a 22 year old age difference between the couple – but remember this is the same Billy Joel that swept supermodel/actress Christie Brinkley off her feet in the early 80’s. 5/19/08 · A standing ovation for Dallas Star’s Mike Modano as he walked into Bob’s steakhouse Saturday night; Just off the plane from Detroit, both Mike and his father, Mike Madono Sr. certainly received a warm welcome from fans and supporters at Bob’s. 5/19/08 · Dallas’ celebrity model heads back to her hometown after her recent accident in LA. Erin Watson, locally raised IMG model broke her foot during a commercial filming in LA with Justin Timberlake. Erin is staying at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and was seen on crutches Thursday evening at the Preston Royal needlepoint boutique. 5/19/08 · Former Pink Floyd Frontman, Roger Waters, was surprised by the amount of people at the bar when he entered Al Biernat’s steakhouse. The legendary Bassist asked to be seated at a quiet table towards the back of the restaurant. In town for a concert at Fair Park, Mr. Waters stayed at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. 5/5/08 · Trader Vic’s welcomed a few familiar faces this past week. White Stripes frontman Jack White checked in upstairs with his band and was seen at the bar. Another well recognized face was Miami Dolphins Don Shula who also made a weekend vist to Trader Vic’s. 5/4/08 · Last Thursday, The Dallas Cowboys’ 1990’s “Triplets” were reunited over steaks and poker at Del Frisco’s steakhouse in North Dallas. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Daryl Johnston, and Michael Irvin were all in town for a special event called “Prime Steaks and High Stakes,” donated as an auction item at last year’s Cattle Baron’s Ball by Del Frisco’s boss Dee Lincoln. 4/28/08 · If you're David Lee Roth’s housekeeper, then you definitely had an easy job last week. Van Halen’s lead singer was checked into one of the most expensive suites at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, however Diamond Dave chose to sleep outside in his tour bus. Well with Van Halen’s Canadian counterparts (members of Rush) also staying at the Mansion, you could bet the reunion or should we say afterparty was better off outside. 4/27/08 · A pair of Divas arrives in Dallas. Aretha Franklin stayed at the Stoneleigh Hotel for a week while here for her Nokia concert. 4/25/08 Next came Patti LaBelle, who headlined Dallas Black Dance Theatre's gala at its new home in the Arts District. Ms. LaBelle was then seen at Hotel Palomar. · In town for Erykah Badu’s CD release party, Dave Chapelle turned more than a few heads when he arrived at Victory Park. The Actor/Comedian was seen at LFT buying a few pieces from the Ever clothing line. 3/1/08 · Who could ever forget “The Fonz” on Happy Days. Henry Winkler, a.k.a. “Fonzie” had dinner Bob's Steakhouse with Cindy Williams, a.k.a. Shirley Feeney from Laverne & Shirley. The two actors were in town making celebrity appearances at the O’Reilly AutoRama car show at Dallas Market Hall. 2/18/08 · The Simpson sisters were both in Dallas on Valentine’s Day. Big sister Jessica was seen on a date with boyfriend while Ashlee was in town to promote her new Album. So where did Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have there Valentine’s dinner… in a cozy corner booth at Nove Italiano. 2/18/08 · Actor Bill Paxton was seen on campus at SMU this past week. The Ft. Worth native is currently starring in HBO’s Big Love (Mr. Paxton also starred in mega hits such as Titanic, Twister, and Tombstone) will probably be back in Dallas for AFI this spring. 2/3/08 · More Paris and Terrell Owen news! So we all know that the two exchanged numbers previously at Ghostbar. The two were spotted again in Phoenix at Trump Vodka’s Super Bowl party. Also Former NBA bad boy, Dennis Rodman was seen at the party checking out the live show by 50 cent. 2/4/08 · Before the Mavericks and Lakers game last Thursday, Kobe Bryant had dinner at Al Biernat’s with Mav’s Athletic trainer Casey Smith. The NBA All-Star requested two tables for himself and for his bodyguard. That did not stop the celebrity seasoned biernat’s crowd as they began approaching Mr. Bryant for autographs… and for those asking, Kobe Bryant does not order Kobe steak every time he goes to a steakhouse even at Al Biertnat’s. 1/28/08 · Paris Hilton & TO: Cowboy fans we are not off the hook just yet. So after reports of Tony Romo's break up with Jessica Simpson, we hear that TO and Paris Hilton hit it off at Ghostbar. The two were seen exchanging phone numbers that evening. As soon as she arrived she braved the cold air to sign autographs and take pictures. Onlookers were surprised how accommodating she was. After the premier she stopped by her suite at the W hotel to change from a sophisticated little yellow dress, to a shiny blue sequined shirt and jeans. Once at Ghostbar she was seen dancing on the furniture to pal Lindsay Lohan’s single “Revenge”. There have definitely been a lot of speculations that it was actress Ashley Olsen who was seen with Lance at both Al Biernat’s and Nobu. After one source at one of the venues reviewed the security tapes, they believe that the girl on the tape was too tall to be an Olsen twin. 1/18/08 · Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are both still on the Dallas radar. The two were seen at Medina Oven & Bar in Victory Park last week. 1/18/08 · Expect to see Celebrity hairstylist Frederic Fekkai more frequently in Dallas since he recently opened a second-floor shop at Highland Park Village. Last Monday Frederic was spotted at Stephan Pyles restaurant in the Arts District. 1/18/08 · Before Sunday's playoff game both Troy Aikman and Joe Buck, NFL’s Fox booth boys, were spotted in Uptown Dallas with friends and family. Friday night, Troy and his wife, Rhonda, hosted a party of 14 at one of their favorite Dallas hangouts, Al Biernat's steakhouse. Among the guests were Joe and his wife, Ann, and many of the Fox crew in town for the game. 1/16/08 · Dallas will see a few familiar faces when CBS airs Comanche Moon, the much-anticipated prequel to Lonesome Dove. Fort Worth-based actor Charles Baker and former Dallasite Troy Baker (no relations) will both play roles on the upcoming TV series. Charles Baker is a veteran of Chuck Norris' Walker, Texas Ranger series as well as local theater productions at Stage West, Circle Theatre and the Hip Pocket Theatre. As for Troy Baker, he lives in LA now, but locals will remember him as the lead singer of the Dallas band Tripp Fontaine. 1/16/08 · Shaquille O’Neal didn’t play in Friday’s game against the Mavericks but he still made the trip to Dallas. The injury definitely did not keep Shaq sidelined Friday night. The 7-foot-1 Miami Heat center was hard to miss when he arrived at Zubar on Lower Greenville that evening. 1/9/08 · Locally raised model Jerry Hall, the former Mrs. Mick Jagger was spotted on Monday at Fearings with her twin sister, Terry, and their sister, Rosie Hall. Expect to see more of Jerry this year in Dallas. 1/7/08 · Why show up with one when you can be with two of the Simpsons. Tony Romo arrived at his regular gig on 105.3FM radio show with both Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. Boyfriend Pete Wentz, bassist for the Fall Out Boys, accompanied Ashlee while a live audience of over 200 people watched the entourage arrive at the Hotel’s sports bar. 12/26/07 · It was definitely a star studded Birthday Bash for Dallas Cowboy’s Terrell Owen’s. Jamie Fox, Brandy, Serena Williams, Melody of the Pussy Cat Dolls, Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child were all spotted on the Red Carpet. Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Roy Williams, and more of TO’s teammates arrived to the Gaylord Texan. So with all the celebrities at the party… who stole the show? Jamie Fox of course. The Oscar winner dazzled and humored the crowd during the charity auction which helped raise thousands of dollars at the end of the night. · Jeff Bridges arrived in Dallas for a showing of his latest film, The Amateurs, at the Angelika. Mr Bridges along with nine guests was seen at Al Biernat’s steakhouse that evening. Not one, but two video photographers were stacked inside the restaurant. When they were asked to stay clear of the actor the two stated that they were there shooting for other clients. 12/10/07 · Ashlee Simpson made it back to her hometown with boyfriend, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz. After the Concert at Nokia Pete and Ashlee headed to the Ghostbar where Pete met up with Travis McCoy, lead singer of Gym Class Heroes. 10/26/07 · Rock icon, Sammy Hagar was seen at Primos after his show at Lakewood Theatre. He was also accompanied by Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony (Eddie Van Halen’s son, Wolfgang, now plays bass for VH). 10/26/07 · After the free concert courtesy of Scion, Timbaland made his way back to the W Hotel. The last time we saw Timbaland was at the Ghostbar after party with Justin Timberlake. This time around the Hip-Hop star gave everyone a surprising 2 hour live show. 10/19/07 · Not only did the players have competition during the big Cowboys & Patriots showdown, so did the Owners.
